I am very please to have attended the first ever meaning conference to be held in the UK – the International Meaning Conference: Joining Forces in Practice and Research held at Roehampton Universtity on June 30-July 2. I am also pleased to say that I served as part of the scientific comity, which organised the conference and I am happy to report that the event was a great success. This event is a development stemming from the 9the Biennial International Meaning Conference held last year in Toronto.
The conference had many excellent and inspiring speakers and workshops and I invite those interested to view the conference details on their web page: www.meaning.org.uk
